Peaking on August 12.  Be ready to camp out with kids or grandkids, tell stories, and keep an eye out for the Perseids, the meteor showers that appear to originate in the direction of the constellation Perseus.

Every Day is Earth Day

Reading recently that 11% of the world's fresh water goes into processing paper reinforced my urge to get with it and cut down on my own paper use.  

What is most likely the largest book in your home or office and one delivered annually, whether you want it or not?  You've guessed it by now -- your phone directory (or directories) How often do we look up a number online instead?
